NEW for summer 2021, an artful hands-on exploration of architecture in 2d and 3d taught by PUSD art teacher Larraine Seiden! We will build, draw, and make prints while learning foundational concepts such as perspective, the design process, and abstraction. Historical and contemporary architecture will serve as touchpoints as we culminate the week with an original scale model design. 

This class will be offered outside on my covered porch in central Piedmont and enrollment will be limited to 10. Masks will be required. New this summer—Take your drawing to the next level! For kids who are ready to develop their observational drawing skills further and begin to explore color. We’ll start by applying our DRSB skills to life drawing of people. Then we’ll explore beginning color theory through painting. Previous experience with the Drawing on the Right Side beginning course recommended, but not required as we will review some key concepts. Camp will meet in Piedmont, CA with exact location TBD.
